TEXTURE
Mark’s most in demand work. Captured to invoke deep feelings without showing any identifiable subject matter. All photos are from places and things seen in every day life, typically shot in closeup. This work evokes a sense of mystery.
UNIQUE PERSPECTIVES
These are places and things, regularly seen and rarely seen, shot from a unique perspective. The intent is to present an unusual way of seeing the objects we encounter in life and then exploring how they make us feel.
BLACK & WHITE
Returning to his roots and his training in the dark room with film stock, Mark taps into the artistic side of his black and white work. The purpose of these images is to invoke a visceral feeling of artistry and nostalgia, based on the object’s structure itself.
BALLOON ART
Balloons bring out the child in us. They offer us a sense of playfulness and fun. They can even be a tad eerie at times. The purpose of these images is to recreate that whimsical, off-beat feeling through color, texture, and shape.
WATER
Bodies of water have always held a special place in Mark’s heart. Much of his life has been lived and experienced around beaches and the surrounding areas. These images are intended to bring a sense of both peace and drama to the viewer.
EARTH
Mark has spent much of his life outdoors. Thus, his intense desire to capture his love of adventure and connection to the earth in his outdoor photography. These images are intended to connect the viewer with nature and the planet we live on.
